Welcome to Alchemy Brewing, a unique bar, restaurant, and brewery located in Brunswick East, Victoria. Our journey began with a simple idea - enjoying homemade brews in the comfort of our own yard. This idea eventually evolved into a fully-fledged project, leading us to find the perfect location - the once-dilapidated building that used to house Clegg's Haberdashery for over three decades.

Determined to transform the space into something special, we took on the challenge of renovating the entire building ourselves. After a year of hard work, perseverance, and a fair share of tears, we turned the space from a dark, ugly mess with purple walls and carpet on tile flooring into the airy, and spacious venue it is today.

Our brewery was installed, and we began brewing beer on a much larger scale than ever before - an exciting yet terrifying experience. But to our delight, the brewery worked perfectly, and the beers tasted fantastic.

We opened our doors on December 27th, 2019, and were met with an overwhelming show of support and enthusiasm from the local community. However, just as we were getting started, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, presenting an entirely new set of challenges.

But despite the obstacles, we have persevered and continued to bring our passion for great beer and delicious food to our customers. We can't wait to welcome you to our unique space and share our story with you.
